Gribbin Head

Gribbin Head (Cornish: an Gribyn) is a promontory on the south coast of Cornwall, England, UK, owned and managed by the National Trust. It separates St Austell Bay from the estuary of the River Fowey and is marked by a large tower used to aid navigation of ships approaching the local harbours.

Famed for its association with the author Daphne du Maurier and the setting of many of her books, the countryside to the west of Fowey offers a variety of landscapes and features of historical significance. This circular coastal walk gives you a taste of it all, taking you to beaches, coves, woodland and grassland rich in wildflowers.
